Whether you live in St. Louis, Missouri or just plan to visit, there are several things you should make sure you check out. St. Louis has plenty of things to do from visiting many of the historical parts of downtown to the newly developing neighborhoods that surround the area. There are three main attractions you and your family should not miss if you do choose St. Louis as your vacation spot.
Six Flags over St. Louis has been in operation since the late sixties offering family fun and entertainment to the St. Louis area. Six Flags is located on Interstate 44 and Six Flags Road in Eureka, Missouri. Six Flags over St. Louis begins operation in early spring and runs through late October. As one of the largest and premiere theme parks in the country, Six Flags is known for its family entertainment at a great value. From great thrill rides like the Boss (one of the country’s largest wooden roller coasters) to the family shows. You can even catch one of your favorite singing artists in concert at the Six Flags amphitheater. If all that isn’t enough, in recent years Six Flags over St. Louis built one of the largest water parks, Hurricane Harbor, and combined the two in the same low price of admission. So for the regular admission price, you get to enjoy the water park as well (which for all that know about Missouri weather in the summer, the water park with its huge slides and wading pools make for a relaxing addition to the fun). If you have any questions about the park, you can call (636) 938-4800 (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or visit the website at www.sixflags.com/parks/stlouis .
